The vision for this project was to create state-of-the-art educational facilities to support the growing needs of the school community. The brief called for three new extensions to house Special Needs Units (SNUs), new classrooms, and administrative office spaces. Each extension needed to meet modern educational standards, be fully accessible, and ensure a welcoming and safe environment for students, teachers, and staff.

Given the importance of providing inclusive learning spaces, special attention was paid to the design and build of the SNUs. These units required tailored layouts, enhanced mechanical and electrical features, and sensory-friendly environments to support students with additional needs.

Donal O’Brien Building was selected to deliver the project from initial construction to final fit-out, ensuring the facilities were ready for occupation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
